Join us for an amazing camp session at the Union Point Sports Complex with Next Step Training during February break. Team up with Camp Directors Nicholas Woodruff and Luis Silva for the ultimate soccer training camp! Next Step Training was founded in order to provide a unique competitive experience for the BEST local kids in and around the Southeastern Massachusetts/Rhode Island area. The combination of high-level coaching, invite-only environments, and a true club-neutral philosophy makes Next Step one of the most elite supplemental training experiences in New England. The overall goal of this camp is to provide technical, tactical, and mental growth while encouraging players to be creative to help them become the most complete version of themselves.

Nicholas Woodruff

Originally from Attleboro, MA. Nick spent the majority of his youth career from 2012-2017 with the New England Revolution academy. As an academy standout, Nick gained national attention as a Top 150 recruit in the class of 2017. In the fall of 2017 he attended Michigan State University to join the Big Ten powerhouse. Spending 3 years there, Nick played a total of 27 games making it to an Elite 8 in 2017 & NCAA Final Four in 2018. In 2019 after receiving a contract offer from the New England Revolution organization Nick decided to full-fill his lifelong dream to become a professional.

Luis Silva

Luis Silva was born in Oaxaca, Mexico, and moved to Los Angeles at a young age. He played collegiately at UCSB & was then selected 4th overall by Toronto FC in the first round of the 2012 MLS SuperDraft. Luis went on to play for DC United, RSL, Seattle Sounders, and Liga MX side Tigres. He also has won MLS Cup, US Open Cup, Canadian Cup and Liga MX.

Groupings:

Campers will be grouped by age, ability, and experience within the program that you select.  Please note that there is the ability to switch programming if a player desires and the coaches agree.

Equipment Needed:

All campers must bring soccer cleats, shin guards, athletic shoes, and a water bottle.

Medical Protocol:

Most camps have an athletic trainer on-site to help with illness or injury. In case of an emergency, campers will be transported to the nearest hospital.

There are two programming options to select from based on a player’s skill level and/or desire during camp. In either program, players will work on mastering the proper fundamentals, techniques and advancing their overall skills and knowledge of the game. Both are a great opportunity for players to learn through a mix of drills, games, and competitive play.

Player Development Programming

Geared towards campers of any skill levels. This programming is designed to maximize participation of all players while ensuring each player develops in all aspects of the camp in a fun and engaging environment. Coaches will implement a wide range of technical, physical, and tactical activities with a focus on fun so campers get to improve with a smile on their faces.

High Performance Programming

For campers with previous soccer experience who are looking to improve their game in a fun and fast-paced environment. This programming is designed so players leave the camp week more prepared to contribute positively on their club and/or high school teams.  Coaches will provide campers with a fresh perspective and challenge them to develop technical, tactical, physical, and psychological aspects of their game through a progressive curriculum.

Transportation is not provided. Campers are responsible for getting to and from camp on their own. There is no supervision before or after camp hours so please make arrangements to pick up your child on time.

***Camps are open to any and all entrants. Enrollment in our camps is limited only by age, gender, and capacity restrictions as specified by each camp.
